Rainbow

Rainbow course modules incorporates a contextualization approach to expand across multiple disciplines of studies including geosciences, physics, biology and mathematics in an attempt to examine the feasibility to integrate teaching materials for junior high school. The course incorporate daily life in online learning materials to help learner better understand more complicated topics (i.e. rainbow encompasses concepts such as “propagation of light”,“reflection and refraction of light” from physics, “condensation” and “weekly movement of sun” from geosciences, “anatomy of eye” from biology and “similar triangles” from mathematics; (2) using storyline stimulate student’s interest in learning.  The course meaterials can be used as reference for teacher who is interested in developing integrated science learning modules.
